Byron Saxton and Chris Masters versus Brodus Clay and Ted DiBiase
Saxton and Clay start things off and they lock up with Clay sending Saxton to the mat. Saxton gets into the ropes and the referee pulls Clay away. They lock up again and Clay sends Saxton to the mat again. Saxton tags Masters into the match and they lock up. Clay backs Masters into the corner and he chops Masters and connects with a knee. Masters tries for a sunset flip and Clay pulls him up but misses a punch. Masters with a kick hand chops. Clay with a clothesline into the corner and then he Irish whips Masters. Clay misses a charge into the corner and Clay tries for the Master Lock but Ted distracts Masters. Clay with an overhead suplex followed by an elbow drop for a near fall. Ted tags in and we go to commercial.
We are back and Ted has Masters in a reverse chin lock. Masters with elbows to Ted to get out of the hold. Ted with a punch as we see the reactions from the rookies on the apron and Ted gets a near fall. Clay tags back in and he hits a splash into the corner. Ted tells Clay to finish him and Clay with a forearm across the back. Clay with a chop followed by shoulders in the corner.
Ted tags back in and he kicks Masters but Masters with a kick and chops but Ted with a drop kick after Masters hits Clay on the apron. Ted with a near fall. Ted chokes Masters in the ropes and then Clay drops Masters across the ropes. Ted gets another near fall. Ted misses a punch and Masters with a Samoan drop and both men are down.
Saxton tags in and he runs into a drop toe hold and Clay tags in. Clay with a head butt to Saxton followed by an Irish whip. Saxton comes off the turnbuckles but Clay catches him and hits a spinebuster. Ted tags in and he misses a knee drop. Masters tags in and he chops Ted and hits a flying shoulder tackle and forearm. Masters hits Clay on the apron and then Masters hits a spinebuster. Clay gives Ted an elbow drop when Masters moves out of the way. Masters calls for the Master Lock but Saxton makes the blind tag. Byron punches Ted and Ted hits Dream Street for the three count.
Winners: Brodus Clay and Ted DiBiase

Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler and Ted DiBiase
Out comes Kofi Kingston to the ring next. WWE’s United States Champion Daniel Bryan is out next with The Bella Twins on his arms. Out next come their opponents, WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler with Vickie Guerrero and his partner Ted DiBiase, with Maryse. We go to commercial as DiBiase makes his entrance.
Back from the break and Ziggler has Bryan down on the mat with a headlock as Maryse, Vickie and The Bellas cheer on from ringside. Bryan fights out but Ziggler lands a 2 count. Ted is tagged in now and goes to work on Bryan. Ted with a few pin attempts and another tag to Dolph. Ziggler with a neckbreaker and a 2 count. Ted comes back in for a bit more double teaming. Ted continues the assault on Bryan with a headlock on the mat. Bryan comes back and Ted ends up on the floor. Kofi and Ziggler come in. Kofi with dropkicks and a big shot from the ropes. Kofi hits the Boom Drop. Kofi then hits Trouble in Paradise on Ziggler for the win.

Ted DiBiase and Maryse are out next and Ted introduces the biggest, most intimidating powerhouse ever to be on NXT, Brodus Clay.
Matt welcomes the rookies and says that they are going to get the chance to do what many wish they can do, become WWE Superstars. He says that everyone is watching what they are doing. There will be voting from the pros and WWE Universe. The winner of NXT will earn a Championship match.
Ted and Maryse are in the back and Maryse says that Ted don’t listen to her. Ted asks for Brodus to give us a second so they can argue in private in front of the cameras. Ted wants Maryse to put this behind them. Ted tells Brodus that he is big and intimidating. They need to turn that presence into strength and power. Maryse says that he needs a makeover. Ted says that Brodus has all of the tools and if they listen to him this competition is his to lose. Brodus and Ted leave and Maryse stand there.

Ted DiBiase and Maryse vs. Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella
Back from the break and out comes Ted DiBiase and Maryse. We see Nikki Bella walking up to Daniel Bryan’s lockerroom. Out walks Bryan with Brie Bella on his arm. She’s going to be his partner tonight. The WWE US Champion and Brie Bella head to the ring with Brie on his arm.
Josh Matthews has joined Lawler and Punk on commentary. Before the match starts, Nikki Bella comes walking out to ringside to cheer Bryan on. Ted and Bryan lock up to start the match. They go back and forth until Bryan takes Ted to the mat with an armbar. Bella and Maryse come in and go at it. Bella gets a two count. Maryse takes Bella down by her hair. Maryse misses a clothesline and Bella rolls her up. Ted breaks the pin and Bryan comes in to knock him to the floor. As the referee is distracted, the other Bella rolls her sister out of the ring and switches with her. Maryse comes over and Nikki rolls her up for the pin and the win.
Winners: Daniel Bryan and The Bella Twins
- After the match, Ted and Maryse have words in the ring. Ted is arguing with her and Maryse responds with a hand to his face, telling him to hush it. Bryan celebrates on the stage with both Bella Twins. The WWE tag team titles are on the line later in a fatal four-way. Up next we will see an exclusive interview with Wade Barrett. Back to commercial.

Ted holding a toy belt. Maryse in and on his case for doing that. When she looks at Ted she sees a guy who tapped out twice to a guy smaller than her. Ted looks bad and that makes her look bad. And why is it that Santino – Ted yells right in her face to shut up! He then slams out of the room and she’s left looking upset.

We cut backstage where Cena is walking and a line of WWE Superstars and Divas applaud him. Orton stops Cena, they shake hands and hug. Cena walks on down the ramp out of the arena outside and Wade Barrett appears in front of the camera. Barrett does the “you can’t see me” gesture to Cena’s back as he walks toward the street.
Ted DiBiase vs. Daniel Bryan – King of the Ring Qualifying Match
We go to the ring and Ted DiBiase is waiting for another KOTR qualifying match. Out next is the WWE United States Champion Daniel Bryan. Bryan comes to the ring and Brie Bella comes running out after him, holding his arm. The bell rings and Ted attacks first, unloading on Bryan. DiBiase keeps control, hits Bryan with a big knee to the gut and gets a 2 count.
More back and forth. Ted drops Bryan with a big sit down powerbomb but only gets a 2 count. Bryan counters a hold and locks on the LaBell Lock. Ted taps out to give Bryan the win.
Winner: Daniel Bryan

Ted DiBiase (w/ Maryse) vs. Daniel Bryan
We go to the ring and out comes Ted DiBiase with Maryse for tonight’s United States Title Match. Out next is the US Champion, Daniel Bryan.
The bell rings and both men lock up. Bryan works over Dibiase’s arm, but it’s quickly turned around on him. Bryan is able to get out of it and hit a dropkick and the lights go down for no reason at all. They come back up and Bryan catches Dibiase with a big boot in the midsection. Dibiase rolls out to the apron and catches Bryan in the stomach with a shoulder. Dibiase traps Bryan and suplexes him from inside the ring out to the floor.
DiBiase rolls Bryan back into the ring, lays in a couple of elbows across his throat, and goes up to the middle rope to drop a double ax handle, again across Bryan’s throat. Bryan falls to the outside but he’s quickly rolled back in. Dibiase goes for the cover but he’s only able to get a two count. Bryan stuns Dibiase with a big European uppercut, and another. Bryan scores with a kick, but he’s taken down to the mat by Dibiase and pounded for a little bit before Dibiase attempts another pinfall. Dibiase goes right into a rear chin lock as soon as Bryan kicks out, but Bryan is able to fight out of it, only to be planted across Dibiase’s knee with a backbreaker, and stood up for a dropkick. Dibiase locks in another rear chin lock.
Bryan is able to fight to his feet, and avoids a suplex from Dibiase only to come back with a beautiful dropkick into the corner. Bryan lays into Dibiase with a series of kicks, backflips over Dibiase in the corner, and lands a sliding lariat. Bryan throws Dibiase to the outside and hits a beautiful suicide dive, only to immediately get up grabbing his shoulder. Bryan’s a great worker, but even if he’s seriously injured, he’s worked longer matches with worse injuries. Bryan hits a shotgun missile dropkick from the top rope that’s good for a two count. Bryan kicks Dibiase sqaure in the chest about eight times before going for another. Dibiase grabs his leg but finds himself caught in a small package for two. Bryan goes for the LaBell lock, but Dibiase fights it off and hits an awesome clothesline that’s good for a two count.
Dibiase tries for the Dream street, but Bryan is able to counter, and runs up into the corner, forcing Dibiase into a pinning predicament. Dibiase kicks out but holds on to the million dollar dream. Bryan fights out but he’s immediately put back down by Dibiase. Dibiase takes Bryan to the corner and buries his shoulder in Bryan’s midsection before placing him on the top rope. Bryan slips under a superplex attempt and Dibiase ends up perched on the top rope instead. Bryan connects with a beautiful high angle back superplex, and he immediately goes back to holding his shoulder before going for a pin. Bryan only gets a two but tries to transition directly into the LaBell lock, only for Dibiase to slingshot him into the corner. Dibiase tries for a quick pin, but Bryan fights out, locks in the LaBell lock, and forces Dibiase to tap.
Winner: Daniel Bryan
