Is Raw safer under John Laurinaitis? How do the Superstars and Divas feel under the governance of Interim Raw GM John Laurinaitis? The roster reveals its assessment in a WWE.com exclusive video.

CM Punk is shown backstage showing his tattoos off to Ted Dibiase Jr. Triple H walks in and hopes Punk can understand his immigration issues this past week. Punk says he understands someone else is pulling the strings. Punk and Hunter banter back and forth for a little bit about a ‘rah-rah’ speech, before Punk says tonight he wants to show Miz and Truth all about an ‘unsafe working environment’.

Randy Orton won a 41-Man No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal
The night started with major news. With new Interim Raw GM John Laurinaitis at his side, Teddy Long announced the first match of the night would feature 41 Superstars in the largest Battle Royal in WWE history. Laurinaitis then revealed the winner would earn a title match against the champion of his choosing.
During the mayhem, powerhouses like Mason Ryan and Sheamus eliminated multiple Superstars. With bodies flying, a Brogue Kick from The Celtic Warrior sent The Miz careening from the ring. But since Miz didn’t go over the top rope, he was still in contention. In contrast, even though Christian was eliminated, in a devious move, he reentered the ring and took Sheamus out of the hunt.
As the field thinned down to the final two combatants, Miz found himself battling Randy Orton tooth-and-nail for the championship opportunity. With both Superstars tangling with each other on the ring apron, The Viper downed Miz with an RKO. In a wild finish, the momentum from the RKO carried both Superstars to the arena floor. But since Miz’s feet hit just before Orton’s, the victory went to The Viper.

Back from commercial and we see John Laurinaitis backstage shaking hands with the 55 talents as they re-enter the building. Morrison stops and says he should have been careful what he wished for because Laurinaitis sucks. Laurinaitis tells him not to change and go straight to the ring for a match. Christian comes in next and says this is the best decision the Board of Directors has made. We should get rid of the interim title and make Laurinaitis the permanent GM. Laurinaitis tells Christian to go face Morrison now in the ring and Christian is going to bring some of his friends with him.

As soon as the Cell rises up, Cena rushes under it and attacks Del Rio from behind. The Miz and R-Truth sneak in, wearing jeans and hoodies. They beat everyone down and kick the referees down. Triple H and John Laurinaitis run down but the Cell is lowered, keeping Triple H out. Triple H orders Laurinaitis to the back to open the Cell. Miz and Truth continue their beatdown in the ring as several WWE Superstars run down and try to shake the Cell down. Truth takes out a camera man as Miz beats u a referee. The whole locker room is trying to get in the Cell now as Truth and Miz continue beating down everyone in the ring. Another camera man in the Cell gets taken out. Security, Superstars and officials are now surrounding the ring, with police. Someone comes down and cuts the lock off the Cell with bolt cutters. Police enter the ring first as Triple H is held back. Truth and Miz surrender to the police and drop to their knees, putting their hands behind their back. Truth and Miz are put in handcuffs, then taken out of the Cell by police. Triple H runs up and takes them both down. Triple H wails away with right hands on both men as they’re in handcuffs. Triple H pushes down Laurinaitis and it’s chaos at ringside. Triple H is going crazy as two men hold him back and try to pull him to the backstage area. Hell in a Cell goes off the air with Triple H behind held back while Miz and Truth are taken away in handcuffs, the whole locker room and officials looking on.
